At English Talks, we are committed to maintaining transparency, integrity, and compliance in all our franchise operations. Below are the key policies that govern our franchise agreements, business conduct, and operational standards.

Franchise Agreement Policy

✅ All franchisees must sign a legally binding franchise agreement before operating under the English Talks brand.
✅ The agreement outlines rights, responsibilities, fees, and operational guidelines.
✅ The standard franchise term is 5 years, with renewal options based on performance and compliance.
✅ Any violations of the agreement may result in termination or legal action.

Financial & Investment Policy

Initial Franchise Fee: A one-time payment required upon signing the franchise agreement.
Royalty Fees: A percentage-based fee calculated on monthly revenue.
Marketing Contribution: Franchisees must allocate a fixed percentage of revenue for local and global marketing efforts.
Refund & Cancellation: Fees paid are non-refundable, except under specific conditions outlined in the agreement.

Branding & Intellectual Property Policy

🔹 Franchisees must follow English Talks’ brand guidelines for logos, colors, marketing materials, and messaging.
🔹 Any unauthorized use of trademarks, copyrighted materials, or marketing assets is strictly prohibited.
🔹 Franchisees cannot modify or create alternative branding without written approval.
🔹 All learning materials, curriculum, and digital tools remain the property of English Talks.

Training & Operational Standards

All franchisees and instructors must complete English Talks’ official training program before launching operations.
Regular quality checks and performance reviews will be conducted to ensure consistency.
Schools must implement English Talks’ Student App & Admin Portal for seamless operations.
Adherence to customer service, student support, and teaching methodologies is mandatory.

Student & Data Privacy Policy

Student Information Protection: Personal data collected from students must be stored securely and not shared with third parties.
GDPR & Data Compliance: All franchisees must comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and local data privacy laws.
No Unauthorized Data Collection: Franchisees cannot use student information for external marketing or sales purposes.

Marketing & Advertising Policy

Corporate Marketing Support: English Talks provides global marketing campaigns, but franchisees are responsible for local promotion.
Advertising Guidelines: All promotional materials must be approved before publication.
Digital Marketing Compliance: Franchisees must not engage in false advertising or misleading promotional tactics.

Termination & Exit Policy

Franchise Violation: Failure to comply with contractual obligations may result in termination without refund.
Franchise Exit Process: Franchisees wishing to exit the business must provide at least 6 months’ notice.
Resale & Transfer: Franchise rights may be transferred to an approved buyer, subject to English Talks’ approval.
